Colonial Office, Cratoria Hongkong, 13th April, 1846

Iam directed by this Excellency The Governor to acquaint you that you will in feiture, as Blachos Master and Marine Magistrate, Conduct all cases wherein Europeans and Lasears are parties,

and that the Department of the Chief Magithate will take up the Chinese Marine Cases. The European Police Constable lately at Government House, will be the fixed constable to the Marine Magistrate and when further Police aid may be required the Superintendent of Police, will be directed to give, instant affittance
